The ISNONTEXT function tests if a supplied value is text. If not, the function returns TRUE; If the supplied value is text, the function returns FALSE.

=ISNONTEXT(value)

value The value argument can be supplied directly, or can be a value returned from a formula, or a reference to a cell containing a value
