The F.TEST function returns the two-tailed probability that the variances in in the two supplied arrays are not significantly different.

  • This function was introduced in Excel 2010 and so is not available in earlier versions.
  • The F.TEST function replaces the FTEST function included in earlier versions of Excel.

Syntax

=F.TEST(array1,array2)
