In this life, we will know
breathless love and joy, and
bear witness to incredible sorrow,
often more than we can stand.

There will be boring days
and exciting moments that will amaze,
times of disillusion,
seething anger, wonder and confusion.

The wild and ever-changing nature
of experiences and emotions
helps our hearts and minds mature,
our bodies strengthen through exertions.

In this life, we should seek contentment
and endure hardships without resentment.
