Princess Plus package
If you’re considering buying the alcoholic drinks package on your cruise, then you are almost certainly better off by getting the Princess Plus fare.
Princess Cruises offers two fares – Princess Fare, known as Princess Savers in the US, and Princess Plus.
- Princess Fare or Princess Savers: The standard ‘no frills’ fare
- Princess Plus Fare: Includes drinks, wifi, and gratuities.
Princess Plus is worth it if you plan to drink two or more alcoholic drinks each day. If you only drink soft drinks and coffee, the Princess Plus package is still worth it as it works out at just $2 per day more than the Coffee & Soda Package but you get free wifi included.
For the best value, you may want to consider the Princess Plus Fare. By opting for Princess Plus, you’ll receive the Premium Beverage package, unlimited free wifi, and free gratuities.
You can choose the Princess Plus for adults and Princess Fare for children which means that the adults can benefit from the drinks package and the WiFi which would mostly be wasted on kids. Unfortunately, you can’t get this online, but you can if you book over the phone or with a travel agent.
