I purchased a new fountain pen while on our Viking Rhine Getaway cruise. Nothing fancy — the Lamy Safari — it is a workhorse of a pen. The very nice gentleman on the right in the photo above is who assisted me with the purchase; I only wish I could remember his name. The pen is constructed of sturdy ABS plastic and is shiny blue. The fountain pen has a cartridge filling system with ink cartridge LAMY T 10 blue and comes with a steel nib but I opted for the 1.5 calligraphy nib.
