2023 Best F/X Reading Challenge

Welcome to the 2023 Best F/X Reading Challenge! For this challenge, we’ll focus on Non-Fiction books about United States History.

Rules

  • Books must be non-fiction
  • You can read any genre, including American History, Military History, Biography and/or Memoir of a historical person from the US, etc.
  • Book setting can be anywhere in the world (or space)
  • You can read books meant for any age group
  • Any format that you choose is also acceptable
  • The challenge will run from January 1 through December 31, 2023
  • A blog is not required for participation; you can also link to reviews on other sites such as GoodReads or Instagram
  • Sign up anytime throughout the year
  • I tried to keep this simple but if you have any questions, reach out in the comments, via social media (links in my sidebar), or via my contact form.

Reading Suggestions

I have a shelf on GoodReads with lots of books on it. There’s also an American History genre list on GoodReads that should give you plenty of good ideas.

Levels

  • Level 1 – High School Grad or Associate of Arts. Read 1-2 books.
  • Level 2 – Bachelor of Arts Read 3-4 books
  • Level 3 – Master of Arts. Read 5-6 books
  • Level 4 – History Ph.D! Read 7+ books
